COVID-19: Ghana’s Cases Hit 13,203, Death Now 70

Ghana has just confirmed 13,203 cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) as of 2nd June 2020.

The total number of active cases of COVID-19 in Ghana currently stands at 8,585.

The Ghana Health Service reports:

A total of 13,203 cases of COVID-19 with seventy (70) deaths have been recorded.

Regional Breakdown:

• Greater Accra Region – 7,681
• Ashanti Region – 2,498
• Western Region – 1,053
• Central Region – 782
• Eastern Region – 301
• Volta Region – 296
• Upper East Region – 241

• Oti Region – 105
• Western North Region – 82
• Northern Region – 61
• Savannah Region – 37
• Upper West Region – 32

• Bono East Region – 23
• Ahafo Region – 8
• North East Region – 2
• Bono Region – 1

Nevertheless, it is important to note that a total number of 4,548 people have recovered according to the Ghana Health Service.
