A chaotic scene unfolded at the Nungua-Buade branch of Dek-Nock Investment today as scores of irate customers gathered to demand the return of their investments.
The uproar ensued following the Bank of Ghana’s shutdown of the office, executed in collaboration with the Ghana Police, for operating without a license.
Furious and anxious, the customers, who claim to have invested substantial sums in Dek-Nock Investment, besieged the premises. They chanted slogans and held placards accusing the company of fraud and deception.

Eyewitnesses reported that police officers were on-site, attempting to maintain order and pacify the agitated crowd. Despite these efforts, the determined customers refused to leave until their demands for refunds were addressed.
This incident comes in the wake of the Bank of Ghana’s intensified efforts to clamp down on unlicensed financial institutions operating within the country. Dek-Nock Investment’s unauthorized operations have now left many investors in a state of panic.
