Nigerian musician David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has announced his willingness to donate a sum of GH¢2,328,954 (N300 million) to orphanages across Nigeria in a year.
He pledged his official Twitter account on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, while explaining that his foundation would coordinate the outreach.
Davido stated that he is keeping up with the annual tradition of contributing to the nation that was started a few years ago. He said details of the disbursement will be unveiled soon.
The musician wrote; “I and my foundation pledge the sum of 300 million Naira to orphanages around Nigeria … as my yearly contribution to the Nation .. details of disbursement tomorrow”
