OccupyGh.com has stumbled on a story that is currently going viral on social media about a Zambian Disck jockey, Hero DJ who was beaten to a pulp for playing South African music in a night club while in Zambia.
According to what has been gathered, Hero DJ was cautioned by the club manager not to play South African music when he first got to the club.
He, however, defied their advice and went ahead to play a song from DJ Maphorisa, a popular musician from South Africa.
Hero DJ was called out of the club by some patronize who bludgeon him beyond recognition.
Patronize of the club revealed that the decision to beat up Hero DJ was out of a recent xenophobic attack that was launched on foreign nationals in South Africa.
Hero DJ is currently hospitalized, responding to treatment.
