Dr. Bawumia Asserts That He Is the Best Candidate For The NPP Because Of His Success In Transforming Ghana’s Economy (Details)

The flagbearer candidate for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, has pleaded with delegates to support him in order to lead the party and ultimately win the 2024 presidential elections.

Speaking to party members and delegates over the weekend at the Donkorkrom, Afram Plains North constituency, Dr. Bawumia declared: “I am always motivated by public duty, not the desire for personal gain.

“I am putting myself up for election as our party’s flag bearer first, and then I can put myself up for the people of Ghana so that I can continue to contribute to the transformation of our nation,” the candidate said.

Dr. Bawumia claimed he had done a lot for Ghana in his capacity as vice president.

Despite not holding the office of president, he continued, “I have worked incredibly hard and made a significant contribution to the advancement of our nation through the landmark policies I have initiated and spearheaded.”
