A piece of breaking news reaching us at occupygh.com indicates a driver has been arrested by the Ghana Police after a lowbed truck got stuck under the Hong Kong footbridge on the George Walker Bush motorway.
According to the details gathered by OccupyGh.com, the truck is bound to Tema, a municipality in the Greater Accra region of Ghana.
The Odorkor MTTD personnel has been reached and currently, at the scene, we have further gathered.
The Odorkor MTTDm personnel is currently directing and assisting approaching motorists.
Efforts are underway to remove the stuck equipment from the bridge.
Meanwhile, the driver of the truck has been arrested by the police to assist in the investigation.
Also, Greater Accra, Regional Maintenance Manager, Ghana Highways Authority is at the scene to support the police with on-the-spot investigations. Approaching motorists are advised to drive cautiously with reduced speed.
