Security camera footage from a cloth shop in Kejetia Market has captured an elderly woman engaged in a blatant act of theft.
The woman entered the shop under the guise of browsing for a cloth to purchase. However, when the shop attendant was distracted, the woman rapidly concealed an entire piece of clothing inside her pants and then calmly exited the premises.
The brazen incident has raised concerns among local shop owners and the community at large. Many are shocked that an elderly person would resort to such deceitful and criminal behavior, breaking the trust that is often extended to senior citizens.
The shop owner, upon reviewing the CCTV footage, immediately reported the theft to the authorities.
Police have launched an investigation to identify the woman and hold her accountable for her actions.
