
<p class="has-drop-cap">This is an excerpt from President Akufo-Addo&#8217;s 6th nation address on measures taken against the spread of <a href="https://occupygh.com/category/coronavirus">Coronavirus</a> (COVID-16) in Ghana.</p>



<p>The President started his address by revealing how proud and privileged he is to be serving Ghanaians in the fight against Coronavirus.</p>



<p>Akufo-Addo also revealed that the country has now confirmed three hundred and seventy-eight (378) cases of Coronavirus in Ghana.</p>



<p class="has-text-color has-very-dark-gray-color">He further announced a one more week lockdown on Greater Accra and Greater Kumasi<a href="https://occupygh.com/government-extends-lockdown-by-one-week">.</a></p>



<p>The icing on the cake for many was when Akufo-Addo announced that Government will fully absorb electricity bills for the poorest of the poor, that is, for all lifeline consumers.</p>



<p>In addition, all other consumers, residential and commercial, the Government will absorb fifty percent (50%) of the electricity bill for the period.</p>
