Failatu Abdul-Razak, a young Ghanaian chef is ready to set the records on the Guinness World Records (GWR) longest cooking marathon (cookathon).
Currently, the longest cooking marathon (individual) is 119 hr 57 min 16 sec and was achieved by Alan Fisher (Ireland) in Matsue, Shimane, Japan.
Failatu Abdul-Razak is ready to break the record as she aims to cook for days with a huge gap achieving 120 hours.

Confirming that she has been given the green light, Faila prayed Ghanaians to back her on her new quest.

Faila has revealed in her video that she will be embarking on the cooking marathon from 1st January 2024 to the 5th of January 2024.
The cooking marathon will be held at Modern City Hotel in Tamale, the city of the Northern Region of Ghana.
