A father has threatened to give his daughter away as a gift if she does not bring home a man as a suitor before December 2024.
This was revealed in a post shared publicly by the daughter on her TikTok page.
The daughter recounted visiting her father’s house for the last Eid El-Kabir, where she discovered that all her cousins had brought their partners to celebrate together, but she had not brought anyone home.
As a result, her father informed her that he plans to give her away as a gift to men in need of a wife if she fails to bring home a husband by December 2024.
The daughter’s post was captioned: “I went home for Ileya and all my cousins came with their partners and my dad said this. Make una help me find husband b4 dey go use me do sara ooo.”
