For ‘changing’ the results of the most recent Ghana’s Most Beautiful competition, TV3 Ghana has come under fire. The grand finals of Ghana’s Most Beautiful were held over the weekend, and Selorm of the Volta Region was named the winner.
A pageant like this, meanwhile, can never end without controversy, and some supporters of Dzifa, one of the competitors, claim their candidate was deceived.
The disgruntled supporter claims that they spent about Ghc 60,000 to vote for Dzifa and that Selorm had no business winning.
However, the fan claimed that the judges—in particular, a judge from Anlo—colluded with Selorm to crown her.
“The way TV3 handled the whole thing was very acrimonious and left many bitter,” the internet user remarked. On the vote conversation, Dzifa, who I personally know, significantly outperformed Selorm by a large margin.
“When the programme was about to end, they decided the finalists by backdoor. Votes cost more than Ghc 60,000 cedis, but Tv3 allegedly gave Dzifa 150 cedis for transportation.
Additionally, there are speculations that Dzigbordi, the judge, is supported by a chief and powerful men since she is Anlo like Selorm and Dzifa is Ewedome.
