Shocking video has emerged depicting Ghana’s newly acquired train undergoing a test run tragically colliding with a truck on the railway tracks.
The incident occurred when a truck driver, Abel Dzidotor, reportedly abandoned his vehicle on the rails, leading to a catastrophic crash with the oncoming train.
Eyewitnesses recount the harrowing moment, with some alleging Dzidotor’s negligence in failing to notice the operational train.
However, the truck’s owner maintains that the vehicle’s breakdown on the rail line was purely coincidental, casting doubt on the sequence of events leading to the collision.
In an update, the driver Dzidotor has been sentenced to six months in jail by the Juapong Circuit Court for his role in a train collision.
