Forget The 02 Arena, Madison Square, Let Them Come And Try This: Bulldog Advises (See Details)

Ghanaians have been urged by Bulldog, to stop pressuring Ghanaian performers to fill the 02 Arena.

Bulldog contends that Ghanaians have no right to expect our singers to sell out the 02 Arena in Madison Square given that Grammy Award-winning Nigerian sensation Wizkid was unable to sell out Accra Sports Stadium for his most recent performance.

He claims that this is the case because of Afrobeats musician Wizkid’s inability to draw the crowd necessary to fill the Accra Sports Stadium, which has a capacity of 40,000 people, despite having conquered all of these venues, including the 20,000-seater 02 Arena.

Meanwhile, Bulldog expressed his displeasure with Wizkid’s decision to skip his concert and his failure to draw a large crowd to the Accra Sports Stadium.

“Now that Wizkid has proven successfully that he cannot fill the stadium, nobody should worry our artists about filling 02 Arena.

He also wasn’t able to fill here. Make dem no come worry anybody. We dey beg. Forget the 02 Arena, Madison Square, and let them come and try the Accra Sports Stadium. Then we can have a conversation.”

However, he praised Rev. Mensah Otabil, the founder and head of the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC), for being the only one to date to be able to fill the Accra Sports Stadium with his regular 31-watch night service known as “Crossover.”
