Mrs. Rita Twum Popularly known as Maa Afia Konadu of Peace FM is dead, Ghpage.com can confirm. According to the reports reaching Ghpage.com, she died on Wednesday 1st May 2019 in the United States of America.
Maa Afia Konadu worked with Peace FM for ten years before going on retirement. She was the host of “Asomdwea Nkomo”, “Wo Haw Ne Sen” and “Wo Mpomu Tesen” all in Peace FM.
Before Peace FM, Maa Afia Konadu was a teacher before joining Ghana Broadcasting Corporation. From there, she joined Despite Media and worked with Peace FM for a decade before going on retirement.
From what Ghpage.com has gathered so far, she fell sick and was sent to the United States of America for treatment. Sadly, she could not recover and died there. She died at the age of 69.
