Charles Nii Armah Mensah aka Shatta Wale is currently in Police custody following his arrest for creating fear and panic in the state that he has been shot.
His crew members who announced him being shot to have been arrested and are in the custody with him. Shatta Wale, however, reported himself.
However, just like how celebrities did for Akuapem Poloo after she was arrested, they have started pushing the agenda with the hashtag #freeshattawale in order to put pressure on the Police for Shatta Wale to be bailed.
Medical. Fella Makafui, Ara-B, Sista Afia, DKB, and a few celebrities have joined the hashtag #freedshattawale.
