Seth Gyimah, the Ghanaian-British boxer known as Freezy Macbones, recently recounted a troubling encounter with UK Police, where they mistakenly assumed he was gay.
The incident occurred after he had met with a member of the LGBTQ community who had been kind to him during his early stay in the UK.
The boxer expressed his shock at how assumptions based on a single interaction could lead to such a distressing experience.
He also revealed that at that time he knew nothing about the LGBTQ community.
In the video, he explained he once met a stranger who helped him during his first stay in the UK.
He later had to meet with the man who apparently was reeling him into the community.
The police who were monitory the situation, picked him and the suspect only for them to understand that he knew nothing of the situation he was getting himself into.
Not fully understanding the implications, the police reaction left him trembling and confused as he finally talked about it in a recent show.
