Ghana Card Mass Registration Begins – Find Out How To Get One

The Mass Registration exercise for the Ghana Card starts on the 29th April 2019 in the Accra west area which includes Weija Gbawe, Ga West, Ga Central, Ga South, the Ablekumas and ends on the 26th May 2019.

What time does Ghana Card registration begins:
Monday to Saturday 7am to 5pm daily from 26th May 2019.

Primary Requirements needed for Ghana Card:

  1. Passport (valid)
  2. Birth Certificate.
    Either qualifies one to register.

There will be Commissioners for Oath at the Registration Centers to take those without any of the above documents through a vouching process.

Mandatory: Digital Address. Download Ghana Post GPS on to your phone and generate the address at the gate of your residence.

Secondary Requirements for Ghana Card:

  1. Driver’s License
  2. Voter ID
  3. SSNIT Card
  4. Health Insurance
  5. Tax Identification Number (TIN) (if you have)
  6. House No. (If available)

They need originals of all documents.

NB: Please note that if you are using your birth certificate or passport it’s the same name that will be used for your Ghana card unless you have a gazette to prove otherwise.

Any change in name or date of birth should be supported by a gazette.
Eg. Marry Jones to Mrs. Marry Trump.

For Vouching, you need 1 family member who has already registered OR 2 people who have already registered. They must be present with their cards to support you.

NIA will deploy all it’s information materials using TV, Radio, Print, Social media today and a press briefing on Thursday 25th April 2019. Don’t Forget to Share
