Ghana has reportedly lost a medical doctor, Educator Jacob Plange-Rhule to Coronavirus in the fight against the novel COVID-19.
Educator Jacob Plange-Rhule, a previous leader of the Ghana Medical Association (GMA), purportedly spent away toward the beginning of today in Accra, after a fight with the fatal virus.

He was the former Rector of the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons (GCPS) and past president of the Ghana Kidney Association (GKA).
Before he was appointed the head of the GCPS, Professor Plange-Rhule was the Head of the Department of Physiology at the KNUST School of Medical Sciences, and a Consultant Physician in the Department of Medicine at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) in Kumasi.
He is credited with the establishment of the Hypertension and Renal Clinic at KATH, overseeing its operations for over twenty years.
