Ghanaian Police Officers Top List for Bribery Susceptibility: UNODC Survey

A recent survey conducted by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) in collaboration with the Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ) and the Ghana Statistical Service (GSS) has revealed concerning findings.

The survey found that police officers in Ghana are the most vulnerable group to bribery among public officials, with a startling prevalence rate of 53.2 percent.

This alarming statistic sheds light on the challenges within law enforcement when it comes to corruption.
