President Nana Akufo-Addo during his 7th update on the coronavirus pandemic captioned, “Measures taken against the spread of coronavirus” indicated that the lockdown has been lifted effective 1 am on Monday.

This decision according to him is due to the newly developed capacities and measures that put the government in the right position to better understand and manage the virus.
