BREAKING: Ghana’s COVID-19 Cases Almost 12,000

Ghana has just confirmed 11,964 cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) as of 14th June 2020.

The total number of active cases of COVID-19 in Ghana currently stands at 7,652.

The Ghana Health Service reports:

A total of 11,964 cases of COVID-19 with fifty-four (54) deaths have been recorded.

Regional Breakdown of COVID-19 cases in Ghana:

• Greater Accra Region – 7,138
• Ashanti Region – 2,205
• Western Region – 976
• Central Region – 652
• Volta Region – 263
• Upper East Region – 241
• Eastern Region – 235

• Oti Region – 95
• Western North Region – 81
• Northern Region – 37
• Upper West Region – 22

• Bono East Region – 14
• North East Region – 2
• Savannah Region – 1
• Bono Region – 1
• Ahafo Region – 1

Nevertheless, it is important to note that a total number of 4,258 people have recovered according to the Ghana Health Service.
