BREAKING: Ghana’s COVID-19 Cases Surpass 12,000 Confirmed Cases
Ghana has just confirmed 12,193 cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) as of 2nd June 2020.
The total number of active cases of COVID-19 in Ghana currently stands at 7,652.
The Ghana Health Service reports:
A total of 12,193 cases of COVID-19 with fifty-four (54) deaths have been recorded.
Regional Breakdown:
Greater Accra Region – 7,138
Ashanti Region – 2,205
Western Region – 976
Central Region – 652
Volta Region – 263
Upper East Region – 241
Eastern Region – 235
Oti Region – 95
Western North Region – 81
Northern Region – 37
Upper West Region – 22
Bono East Region – 14
North East Region – 2
Savannah Region – 1
Bono Region – 1
Ahafo Region – 1
Nevertheless, it is important to note that a total number of 4,258 people have recovered according to the Ghana Health Service.
