A recent survey conducted by Global Info Analytics indicates that former President John Dramani Mahama is poised to win the upcoming presidential election, projected to secure 51.1% of the vote.
The poll suggests that current Vice President and NPP flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, is facing a significant defeat, projected to receive only 38.2% of the vote.
Other contenders, Alan Kyeremanten and Nana Kwame Bediako (also known as Cheddar), are expected to receive 5.3% and 4.6% of the vote, respectively.
The poll was conducted in June, six months ahead of the December elections.
