The woman, a former Royal Air Force chef, Joyce Jackman made her revelation while celebrating her 102nd birthday on May 9.
“Good s+x and good sherry” are what UK native Jackson pinpoints as the keys to long-term satisfaction, telling the staff at her Essex care home that the combination has helped her live for more than a century.
“I had such a lovely day,” she told South West News Service. “I can’t believe I’m 102,” she exclaimed. “It must be all the chocolate I eat that’s helped!”
Jackman accredited her long life to a happy life.
