Gov’t Is Trying To Sell Kotoka International Airport – Kwame A Plus Releases Document
Kwame A Plus has alleged that Ghana Government is hatching plans to sell-off KOtoka International Airport.
Making his allegations on Facebook, he posted a letter with titled “Request for Executive Approval to facilitate the engagement of a strategic partner for Ghana Airports Company Limited to Improve Service Delivery and Expand Infrastructure at the Kotoka International Airport”
The company involved in the partnership according to the letter dated 24th March 2020 is TAV-SUMMA Consortium.
The letter indicates that the President has already granted executive approval for the Ministry of Aviation to facilitate the move.
Kwame A Plus noted:
“They are planning to sell the airport like they tried to sell the whole electricity company of Ghana to themselves. They will also sell Consolidated Bank shares to themselves and merge it with GCB so that they control Commercial Bank. Then finally, they will sell flagstaff house and leave!! The real owners are taking everything….”
