Health Minister Kwaku Agyeman Manu Debunks Claims That He Has COVID-19
Ghana’s minister for health, Kwaku Agyeman Manu has debunked claims that he has contracted COVID-19 and in the hospital for treatment.
According to the Health Minister, he does not have COVID-19 and currently in the hospital for his usual medication and rest.
Kwaku Agyeman Manu apparently confided in a Ghanaian journalist, Afia Pokuaa, the truth of the matter. Afia also took to her official Facebook page to clear the air.
She wrote:
“Spoke to the minister of health. He says he’s fine and doesn’t have COVID but only needed rest and his usual medication.”
The post, however, did not mention if Kwaku Agyeman Manu was indeed on admission at the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC) as earlier reports had noted.
News broke Saturday afternoon that the Health Minister had tested positive for coronavirus and had been receiving treatment at UGMC the whole week.
