Entertainment fans have frequently questioned what specifically caused the relationship between Shatta Wale and Sarkodie in the music industry to break down.
Shatta Wale, the contentious dancehall singer, has now revealed his motivations for relentlessly criticizing Sarkodie, and they are all related to the Glo mega-concert deal that took place on October 25, 2018.
Shatta Wale revealed that he and renowned news anchor Serwaa Amihere had decided to ask for $150,000 for a Glo deal while speaking on a Twitter platform. Rapper Sarkodie, however, ultimately eloped without him and accepted $131.000, which was significantly less than the sum they had agreed upon.
To make matters worse, the promoters offered to pay Sarkodie $131,000 rather than the $150,000 they had originally agreed upon since they believed Shatta Wale wasn’t worth the amount he requested.
When they were given less money, Shatta Wale thought they should skip the show, but Sarkodie didn’t agree. Sarkodie performed at the event instead, keeping the $130,000.
Shatta Wale was upset by this event and vented his annoyance on Twitter, which ultimately caused their friendship to break up.
