On February 6, 2023, Turkey was hit by t 5.7 magnitude earthquake. Unfortunately, Atsu’s residence was caught among the many buildings that collapse.
How Did Christian Atsu Die?
He was reported missing for almost two weeks until February 18, 2023.
His agent, Nana Sechere broke the news that Atsu’s lifeless body was found at his residence under the rubble following weeks long of intense search.
An image that has just surfaced suggests that Atsu may have died after he tried to escape following the earthquake. He is seen trapped by a falling building.
Atsu reportedly died while in his residence of domicile in Turkey.
