An anonymous Bolt driver shared a spine-chilling story on the ‘Ride and Chat’ program hosted by Dr. Sam, a show where drivers recount their unusual experiences.
The driver narrated how he picked up two passengers, a man and a woman, around Osu, only for them to mysteriously vanish from his car midway through their journey to Accra Mall.
He recounted that the passengers entered the car, and the man even instructed him to start the trip before he began driving. However, during the ride, the driver became uncertain about the route and asked for confirmation of their destination. They confirmed they were heading to Accra Mall.
Shortly thereafter, the man texted the driver with a simple “hi,” which puzzled him. When the driver replied, the man texted back, stating that they were no longer in the car. Shocked, the driver checked his rearview mirror and found the back seat empty. To verify, he stopped the car and inspected the back seat, finding no one there.
Overwhelmed by fear, the driver decided to head home to process the bizarre incident. The next day, he traced the passenger’s number and called to inquire. The man claimed they had alighted from the car, although the driver had not seen them do so, before ending the call. The driver has been unable to reach the man since then.
