I asked Wendy Shay to leave RuffTown Records – Bullet

In a surprising turn of events, Wendy Shay has officially ended her seven-year partnership with RuffTown Records, sparking speculation and rumors within the music industry.

Recently, Wendy Shay took to social media to throw shades at her former label and manager, leaving fans and followers curious about the state of their relationship. While some speculated that it could be a publicity stunt to generate buzz for an upcoming release, Bullet, the CEO of RuffTown Records, has confirmed the split.

During a guest appearance on UTV’s United Showbiz hosted by MzGee, Bullet disclosed that he and Wendy Shay had a disagreement, ultimately leading to her departure from the label. He clarified that Wendy Shay’s contract with RuffTown Records had expired, and although an American record label expressed interest in signing her, he wasn’t convinced about the deal and advised against it.

Bullet candidly shared that their disagreement escalated, and in a moment of frustration, he instructed Wendy Shay to leave the label if she wasn’t satisfied. “Most of the time when Artistes and their labels fall out we blame the artiste. However, in our case I blame myself. I got angry at a point and told her if she wanted to go she could go,” he revealed.

Despite the rift between them, Bullet expressed pride in Wendy Shay’s achievements since their fallout. He acknowledged her talent and contributions to the music industry, emphasizing that their professional relationship may have ended, but he respects her accomplishments.

The news of Wendy Shay’s departure from RuffTown Records marks the end of an era for the talented artist and the label. As she embarks on a new chapter in her career, fans eagerly await her next move and anticipate the impact of her future endeavors in the music industry.
