Prophet Obinim of the International Godsway Church has informed his congregation that he will no longer accept offerings of 10 cedis, 5 cedis, or 20 cedis.
In a widely circulated video on social media, Obinim urged members who had given offerings in those denominations to retrieve their money.
He asserted that henceforth, congregants should not dare to offer 10 cedis or less, as doing so would disrespect both God and himself.
Obinim emphasized that the amounts were paltry compared to what individuals spent on their children.
The pastor highlighted the struggles people face due to meager offerings, suggesting it would be preferable for congregants to abstain from giving rather than offering 10 cedis or 5 cedis.
