Ghanaian rapper Medikal has urged his fans to halt their attacks against TV presenter MzGee, citing the excessive nature of the criticism, which he believes is impacting her work.

The rift between MzGee and Medikal initially emerged when she posed questions during an interview that he deemed “silly.”

In response to the verbal assaults directed at MzGee, Ghanaian broadcast journalist Vim Lady has fired back at Afia Schwarzenegger and others for their derogatory remarks against the United Showbiz Show host.

The controversy escalated during MzGee’s congratulatory call to Medikal after his Indigo Concert at the 02 Arena in London. During the conversation, she queried him about his feelings regarding his ex-wife Fella Makafui’s upcoming movie premiere, a question that visibly irked Medikal, leading to a heated exchange.

Following the interview, Medikal recorded a live video, launching further insults at MzGee. Subsequently, Shatta Wale and Afia Schwarzenegger joined the fray, adding to the verbal attacks on MzGee.

In response to her critics, MzGee took to her Instagram page to address the situation, vehemently denying any allegations of exchanging favors for employment opportunities.

Amidst the escalating tension, Medikal, who advocates for peace, has intervened, calling for an end to the hostilities directed at MzGee, recognizing the need to de-escalate the situation.
