Kwesi Nyantakyi, an aspiring member of parliament for the Ejisu constituency, has confessed to engaging in corrupt practices.
In an interview with controversial media figure Captain Smart on Onua TV, Nyantakyi revealed his unsuccessful attempts to prevent the release of a documentary by Anas.
He stated that he paid $100,000 through Anas’ lawyer, but was later pressured to pay an additional $150,000 under threat of exposure.
Nyantakyi claimed he could only afford the initial $100,000, which led to the documentary’s release. He confirmed receiving partial refunds after the documentary aired, asserting that Anas, whom many regard as virtuous, has his own secrets.
