Captain Smart, a renowned Ghanaian journalist and political analyst who used to be a fervent NPP supporter, has openly admitted on live television that he regrets advocating for and supporting Nana Addo.
The controversial media figure claims that Nana Addo was able to fool him and win him over by first acting as a man of integrity.
Speaking on ONUA TV, Captain Smart, a thorn in Nana Addo’s side ever since the start of his second tenure as president, criticized the majority in parliament for manipulating Ghanaians’ perceptions.
Recall that the majority speaker of the parliament declared a month ago that they wanted Ken Ofori to be fired as the finance minister.
However, the majority left the chamber during the censure vote to remove Ken from the ministry of finance.
Ken Afori Atta is the first minister to be subject to a censure vote, as history will recall.
To that effect, the NPP administration led by Akufo was dubbed the worst to have ever existed in Ghanaian history by angry and appalled Captain Smart.
He also expressed regret over purchasing cement bags to aid in the construction of the national cathedral.
Captain Smart has previously attacked Nana Addo, Ken Ofori Atta, and the NPP party as a whole, and it is highly likely that he will do so again.
