I Want To Run For President – Stephanie Benson

Like many life is how you make it and the right time to prepare for tomorrow is right now based on these clichés popular UK-based Ghanaian jazz singer and songwriter, Princess Akua Ohenewaa Asieanem also known as Stephanie Benson, has declared her ambition to lead Ghana in the near future.

Speaking to Afia Pokua on Vim Talk show, the 51-year-old singer divulged that apart from taking much joy in her music career, she wants to be president of Ghana.

The international singer and performer indicated that she is free-spirited and wouldn’t mind jumping into politics to become president.

When asked what she would like to change if she’s given the mandate to lead Ghana, the “So Me Mu” singer stated hat she’s worried about the many accidents on our roads and will put policies in place to ensure that reckless driving will be a thing of the past.

She added that as steps to reduce road accidents she will implement laws to get all drivers embark on driving test.

She, however, concluded that the rate at which drivers, especially commercial drivers, drive on the street is alarming and it must be checked.
