On November 29, 2022, Lawrence Ati Zigi, the goalie for Ghana, enjoyed a wonderful birthday party while competing in the FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
His teammates sang “Happy Birthday” to him as Coach Otto Addo walked over to his side of the table and gave him a plate of cake.
The dessert was a chocolate cake with a lit candle on top. The dish was garnished with a nice note that added taste.
Coach Otto Addo patted Zigi on the shoulders and excitedly placed the cake on the table in front of him before turning to leave.
In shock, Ghanaian media personality Anita Akufo asked her followers on Twitter if she was older than the Ghanaian goalkeeper after all of this information was made public.
Interestingly, the goalkeeper who saved the Black Stars from a number of goals in the 3-2 victory over the South Koreans was only 26 years old.
