Berla Mundi, a prominent media figure in Ghana, has announced ambitions to run for office in the Ledozokuku constituency, which includes the Teshie neighbourhood of Accra.
In a tweet that may or may not have been serious, Mundi made the announcement.
She claims to be preparing to run for office in the legislature and has asked online users for advice on which party to support.
Announcing her selections in a selfie, Mundi included the NPP, NDC, CPP, PNC, and Alan Cash’s new party among others.
For the Ledzokuku Constituency, incoming MP. Which should I be: a, a, a, a, or a?” Mundi penned.
Blogger Ameyaw Debrah responded to her post by saying, “You have my vote.”
Others from the online community chimed in with suggestions for parties to join.
Berlinda Addardey, better known by her stage name Berla Mundi, is a media personality, voice artist, and supporter of women’s rights from Ghana.
Berla attended St. Theresa’s School, Achimota School, and the University of Ghana where she earned her first degree in linguistics and psychology.
She attended the Ghana Institute of Journalism in addition to Alliance Francais, where she studied French.
