Nana Ama McBrown has made her first statement following her move from UTV to Media General’s Onua TV.
Appearing for the first time following her new contract with Media General, McBrown shared her story from her early beginnings from traveling abroad and coming back home.

She detailed how she returned to Kumasi from abroad to start her movie career, doing over a 100 movies.
“I’ve worked, I’ve paid my dues… it didn’t start today, I am not impressing anybody, I am working for myself”.
She also addressed criticism from social media as she reveals that it is all part of the job.
“Whoever is saying things about me I leave that person to God because I know myself and I know I’ve worked my way through here. I didn’t come here for the sake of my beauty and will not let anybody’s opinion about every decision I take condemn my movement… “
