LGBTQ+ has been a subject that almost everybody in Ghana is not In support of. Only a few individuals support LGBTQ+ as they are even seen as weird people.
Not only in Ghana but in all African countries being gay or lesbian is unlawful and you would end up in prison if you are caught engaging in such acts.
However, on United Showbiz on UTV, Jackie Appiah was asked about her say on LGBTQ+ and she replied by saying;
“I have nothing to say, I am thinking about myself”.
This made the guests and host of the program burst into laughter.
Jackie has been one lowkey celebrity who doesn’t interfere in public affairs and even if she is criticized or shaded by her colleagues and celebrities, she doesn’t mind replying.
