Jesus Was Born And Crucified In Nigeria — Historian Gives Breakdown

A Nigerian historian has presented a controversial account of the birth of Jesus Christ, asserting that the savior was born in Owerri, Imo State.

According to the historian, Jesus was given a Nigerian name at birth, though many at the time did not believe he was the son of God. He claimed that Jesus was the son of a man named ‘Jeseafor,’ a name which he said was later altered to Joseph.

The historian also argued that the popular New Yam Festival in Igboland commemorates the crucifixion of Jesus, who he asserted was crucified in Owerri.

Contrary to the traditional belief that Jesus was crucified on the cross at Golgotha, the historian claimed that the crucifixion took place at a dangerous shrine in Igboland known as the “Ekwe kor oma temple.”
