JHS School Girl Dies After Being Caned

Sad news reaching us at OccupyGh.com reveals that a 14-year-old Junior High School student has died after she was caned as a punishment by her teacher.

According to details gathered, Chadia Nishimwe died after she was caned on the neck and legs mercilessly by her teacher. Chadia was said to have bled from her nose and ears after the incident and was rushed to the hospital after she fell unconscious in the classroom.

Chadia father on the other hand has asserted that her daughter died in the classroom. He said: “She just died in class after being cruelly beaten by her teacher. They dumped her at the head teacher’s office…”

Chadia Nishimwe was punished by her teacher for breaking a class rule.

Chadia class mates also have a different story. According to a few students who were in the class when the incident happened, Chadia Nishimwe had an epileptic seizure right after she was caned.

The unfortunate incident happened in Bujumbura, former capital, largest city and main port of Burundi. Kindly share to inform, this is a sad one.
