John Dramani Mahama, former president of the Republic of Ghana has asserted that although the National Democratic Congress (NDC) isn’t perfect, under no circumstance can its leaders be like the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
According to John Mahama, the NPP party is ‘reckless and contemptuous of the people of Ghana’.
“We do not claim perfection, but we in the NDC can never be like the nPP. We simply cannot be and are not reckless and contemptuous of the people of Ghana as the NPP has been….”
Mr Mahama made the pledge in a new social media post, excerpted from his speech at the NDC Europe Conference 2023 as sighted by occupygh.com.
The former President further asserted that the NPP party has been wasteful in how they manage the resource of Ghana, however, the NDC party is nothing close to that.
“We have never been and will not be as wasteful, ostentatious, and as imprudent as the NPP has been”.
