A Kasoa Divisional Police Patrol team has gunned down two armed robbers at Awutu in the Central Region during a movie-like gun battle.
The incident happened when the robbers attempted to rob a stone quarry company located at Awutu Bosomabena in the Awutu Senya West District of Central region.
According to the Police, the killing of the armed robbers occurred during a gun battle with the Police officers.
“The robbers fired 16 rounds of bullets but missed their target while the police managed to gun down two of the eight-member robbery gang,” the Police said.
In an interview with Adom News, some workers who witnessed the incident said they were living in fear.
They, however, commended the police for their hard work and professionalism.
