According to a report from TMZ, Kobe Bryant was traveling with three others in a private aircraft when it came down in Calabasas near LA, California.

An investigation into the cause of the accident is underway. The report reveals that Kobe Bryant’s helicopter went in a ball of fire after hitting the ground.
