In a surprising turn of events, controversial pastor and political commentator Kumchacha has publicly apologized to former President John Mahama during a live television broadcast.
Known for his vocal criticism of Mahama’s government in 2016, Kumchacha admitted his past assessments were misguided.
During the live TV program, Kumchacha confessed that he once considered Mahama the worst president in Ghana’s history.
However, his perspective has drastically changed after experiencing the performance of the current Akufo-Addo administration.
He lamented that the issues he criticized during Mahama’s tenure, such as persistent power outages (dumsor), high exchange rates, and rising inflation have worsened significantly under the current government.

A former staunch supporter of Akufo-Addo, Kumchacha expressed deep disappointment and disillusionment with the administration’s performance.
He acknowledged that his previous harsh criticism of Mahama was misplaced and offered a sincere apology for his remarks.
