Information reaching OccupyGh.com confirms that Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah has officially named Andre Ayew as captain of the team ahead of 2019 African Cup of Nations coming off in Egypt.
This follows a meeting with the top brass of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Normalisation Committee (NC) after which approval and full backing was granted to the plans of the coach.
Andrew Ayew take Asamoah Gyan’s place as captain of the Black Stars.
