A Nigerian lady has angrily poured water on her boyfriend who proposed marriage to her in the middle of the road in public.

Angered that his boyfriend had the audacity to proposed to her, she lost her cool and poured water on him.

The man proposed marriage to her at the popular Plaza in Wuse II, Abuja and it got the attention of shoppers as well as traders.

This left the lady embarrassed as she made attempts to make him realize she was not comfortable with being put on the spot.

In a video that has gone viral, the boyfriend could be seen on his knee with the ring in his hand, but the lady seemed not to approve of the time and location of said act.

She tried to get him to stand up and failed, even as onlookers were urging her to say yes. After trying fruitlessly to make him get up, she emptied the bottle of water on him and stormed off.
