A Nigerian lady has divorced her husband at the airport after the man sold his properties back home to sponsor her education in the UK.
The story as sighted by occupygh.com was shared by a user on the X app. According to the user the man landed in the UK with their children as dependents in order to reconcile with his wife, whom he financed.
Further details were that the husband of the lady sold all he owned in Nigeria to join his wife abroad, only to be discarded at the airport.
The woman reportedly wanted to view their children’s passports, which he handed her without question.
The lady then told him that their marriage had ended and that she no longer wanted anything to do with him. The mother allegedly took their children and left him at the airport.
The netizen, @SeyiGlobal shared a letter from the United Kingdom’s Home Office in which the man was informed that his student dependency permit has been cancelled and ends on January 1, 2024.

“She then told him that their marriage was over and she wanted nothing to do with him. She took their children and abandoned him at the airport. “He just arrived in the UK for the first time to join his wife, who came last year for studies. He helped pay her fees and sold off everything he had in his name to join her.”
