A young woman’s attempt to upgrade her smartphone ended in tears after she was swindled by a deceitful phone dealer in Circle, Accra.
The victim, who had hoped to acquire an iPhone 15, was instead left with nothing after the dealer absconded with her iPhone 6s and 200 cedis.
According to eyewitnesses, the woman had arranged a swap deal with the dealer, who promised to exchange the iPhone 15 for her iPhone 6s and the additional cash.
The dealer’s convincing demeanor led the woman to trust him, but he vanished moments later, leaving her distraught and in tears.
The incident has gone viral on social media, with many expressing outrage and sympathy for the victim.
