Exactly a week ago, we at OccupyGh.com published an article whereby embattled gold dealership firm Menzgold Ghana made claims of engaging with Ghana government to help secure a bail for it chief executive – Nana Appiah Mensah.
“…CEO to freely communicate and meet with our global business associates and partners, who have expressed preparedness following our favourable judgment in the Dubai Court on the 9th of April, 2019, to assist financially and for us to adequately settle our cherished customers/company debt liabilities as soon as possible, as we seek to resolve and give immediate closure to these disturbing matters of the past few months and in order to go ahead with our business as Ghana’s Gold Hub.”
The said letter of engagement was reportedly sent to Ghana government in relationship to this. The said letter was purported to seek assistance from Ghana Government in retrieval of $39 Million money owned NAM1 in Dubai from Horizon Royal Diamonds.

The statement dated June 3, 2019, signed and issued by the Head of Communications at Menzgold, Nii Armah Amarteifio and titled, “Recovery of funds from Dubai, Interpol arrest and the continued detention of our chief executive officer”, Menzgold urged the government of Ghana to “revoke” the Interpol red notice alert.
In latest development, a leaked letter purporting to be the official engagement letter which was forwarded to Ghana government has surfaced online, OccupyGh.com has fortunately grabbed a copy.
